My first Craft Olympics medal!

I made this basket today at the International Quilt Festival.  And by made I mean I wove it from a bunch of reeds!  My DH was very impressed and my hands and wrists are aching.

This is the only class I was able to take this year.  I was hoping to get in a class with Cindy Blackberg--a wonderful handpiecer.  Maybe next year.

Excellent work Karen! That is a well earned Thimble Medal. I did the little stool I am sat on, and I remember the ache in my hands even now! Maybe there are some on line classes or join ins you could do instead? I am thinking of a BOM where they send you the fabric and pattern. I haven't done one like that before. The Fat Quarter Shop run quite a few.
