Big yellow

Tig prefers all things yellow.  I opted to use a patterned stitch on this yarn because it is so plain.  That made this knit take forever-and he had big feet!  I was touched that he immediately put them on.

I used Opal color #5182 and the pattern is Classy Slip-UP from Knit Socks! by Betsy Lee McCarthy. 

And yes, I immediately cast on for some NBK!

Cabinet and yellow mini


Here is where I am on my Cabinet of Curiosities.  I'm hoping to finish it soon because I'm ready to move on to another project!

 And here is my yellow 30s basket quilt.  It's a  mini that turned out larger than I expected!  I'll use this to practice my rulerwork.
