everything's coming up daisies

This is my second shot of Bibelot using the daisy fabric.  I've got a couple of wonky areas I need to sort out.  I'm going to border with a slim yellow border and then more blue daisies.
This is my first Bibelot, quilted and bound.  I gave it to Abby, our Lhasa Apso, because I was unhappy with it.  It actually looks okay.

Weekend work

Got some free-motion quilting practice in on my Bibelot Schnibble.  The quilting isn't great-cats teeth in some places-but at least it's done.  I made a slimmer binding for this-two inches instead of 2.5.  I like the slimmer look.

I'm going to make another one of these Bibelot's in the same fabric but with a different layout.  I just love this combination.

I've gotten a head start on my Easter quiltings.  This is a mini quilt I picked up at the Houston Quilt Festival last fall.  The applique is just fused on right now.  After I finish the Bibelot and it's next rendition I'll get busy on this one.  It came with a ton of cute little buttons.  I can't wait to play with those.

Daisy

Magpie and I made this for my mother for Mother's Day.  I have enough material to make another one for me!

Schnibbles times two

This is the Bibelot Schnibble.  I love the daisies.  I really need to get this one quilted so I can enjoy it in my office at work.

Here is a close up so you can see the daisies better!

And this is my ISTH Schnibble from last month.  I think I may finish this one for my brother when he moves into his new apartment.

Bibelot

I'm using some of my favorite daisy fabric from JoAnn's.  The yellow exactly matches the hearts of the daisies.  I hope this turns out like I am planning.  I would love to hang this in my office!

I made some of the mini design boards that Bee in my Bonnet created. I haven't covered the edges yet-and I really should.  It would make them so cute.  So far I have found these little boards really useful!

See what you can do

It's amazing what you can do when you have a clear table!  These are some blocks for the Saturday Sampler at my LQS. I really like the ...
