The Eagle. . .

I finally got started on my nephew's quilt that I promised I would make him when he finished his Eagle Scout.  I'm combining two quilt patterns and I was really intimidated by this Eagle applique.  I did go back and add another layer of white fabric for the tail feathers and the head.  I felt like the backing was showing through too much.

Aren't these blocks adorable?  I think I like them better than the Civil War repro baskets.  New block next Saturday . . .

Anniversary Socks

Finally finished DH's anniversary socks.  It took forever to knit these!  I started a new shawl immediately after I stitched up the second toe.
I'll post a pic of that after I get a little farther on it.

more Ramona

These are my April and May Ramona blocks.  I really am enjoying these baskets.  We have another Ramona day on Saturday so I will be making another block them for June.
