Peas & Carrots

Finished my Peas & Carrots!  I really do love the feather and fan pattern.  I cast on 64 sts with size 2 needles for the pattern and then switched to size 1 for the heel and foot.

New yarn

Trying out Barnyard Knits. Colourway witches cauldron. I'm nearly finished with Peas and Carrots so I wanted to have this ready to go.

It's amazing what you can do when you have a clear table!  These are some blocks for the Saturday Sampler at my LQS.

Progress!

One of my goals for the weekend was to clear off my cutting table.  It was a total mess and was preventing me from doing anything!

My niece likes to do her homework in my sewing area and DH commented that it was so nice of me to clear off a space for her! LOL

Hot Mess

One of my goals for vacation was to finish these Hot Mess socks.  My son is very pleased and hoping for cooler weather-soon please God!

Peas and carrots

I just love knitting feather and fan socks.  Whenever I see green and orange together it makes me think Peas and Carrots!  This is some Hobbii yarn in a Halloween colorway from last year.  I use size 2 needles to knit the pattern and the switch to size 1 for the heel and foot.
