Our anniversary is coming up so I asked DH to pick out some sock yarn. He's been hinting and rather pointedly asking for a new pair. I was on Christmas break for two and a half weeks and, although he had picked out the yarn, had not told me what style of socks he wanted. I used to knit his socks on 72 stitches but he really likes them to be snug. So I told him to look through his socks and pick a pair where he really liked the fit. He finally did-the night before I went back to work! So I cast on and began knitting during a very long meeting on Tuesday. This yarn is really handsome!!

A little stitching
Red let me do a little boro inspired sashiko stitching on his denim jacket! I love having a son that likes stitching!
