I always like to decorate the china hutch I inherited from Grandmama. Usually I use the Christmas tree stoneware and bits of china and a few bits and bobs. But this year I was inspired by Tea With Friends to display all of my Santa face mugs.

Learning Rulerwork
I took a beginning rulerwork class from Katie from Fabrikated Quilts at the Houston Quilt Festival earlier this month. Katie was a great teacher and I learned so much. Take a look at my work:
So all I needed to do was buy the correct rulerwork foot for my sewing machine. It came in over the weekend but I was busy working on blocks. I'm hoping to give it a good try very soon!

I was planning to cut out two blocks for my LQS' Saturday Sampler but this squirrel wandered in and was very demanding. Accuquilt Maple Leaf die and scrappy bits from stash.

Twilight cabin
This was a free pattern from equilter. When I saw it I just knew my DH would love it. The pattern was not great but it was free and it turned out just fine!

Baby quilt
Made this baby quilt for my grand-nephew. His parents both went to UH. It will have a red minky backing. Chisel block made with my 8 inch Qube companion set-corners.
